Dacia keeps expanding across Europe, strengthening its reputation as the brand that has best ridden out the sharp price rises of recent years. The approach has not changed: concentrate on what matters, and use the Renault Group’s shared resources to deliver value that is hard to match.
Even so, a winning formula does not stand still. For 2026, Dacia has a “handful” of new arrivals lined up. From a bigger push into electrification to the launch of another range-topping model, one thing looks certain: they are all expected to stick to the long-standing promise - the right price.
Dacia’s most ambitious move
The headline launch for the year is expected in the second half: C-Neo. For now, that remains the internal code name, with the final name still to be confirmed.
And it is not yet another SUV. Instead, it is an estate that will share range-topper status with the Bigster. It sits on the same CMF-B platform and should use familiar powertrains from the line-up: petrol and LPG mild-hybrid options, plus a full-hybrid - find out more details.
It is an unusual bet, given the continued decline of the estate-car segment, but Dacia believes it still has a strong case and can generate meaningful volumes. Just look at Skoda, whose Octavia Estate is Europe’s best-selling estate. After managing to put the Sandero at the top of European sales charts, Dacia’s aim with the C-Neo seems straightforward: to fight for leadership among estates.
New electric city car to sit alongside the Spring
At the opposite end of the market - A-segment city cars - Dacia also has an all-new addition: a new electric city car based on the new Renault Twingo. It will share the engineering, but with its own identity, in keeping with the tougher, more rugged design language the brand has been adopting.
So what does that mean for the Spring? The small EV is not being discontinued, at least for now. In fact, it was updated recently and gained (a lot more) power - the most powerful version now has 100 hp - along with a new 24.3 kWh LFP battery, among other changes: see the link for more details.
The Spring will remain the brand’s most affordable electric option, while the new model is expected to sit a step above it in specifications and pricing. It is anticipated that the new city car will start below €20,000, as is already the case with the Twingo.
Sandero and Jogger evolve without a price rise
Alongside the new models, Dacia has also refreshed the Dacia Sandero and Jogger for 2026, and they are now starting to reach the market - orders have already opened for both.
There is a long list of updates, from styling revisions (not especially extensive) through to new engines, which are the most meaningful changes. Highlights include the arrival of a new 1.2-litre, 120 hp ECO-G (LPG) engine, as well as the new 155 hp hybrid powertrain first introduced on the Bigster.
However, although updates like these usually go hand-in-hand with higher prices, that has not happened with the Sandero and Jogger. Both keep their previous entry prices: €14,200 and €18,500, respectively.
Bigster and Duster debut a flagship version
Last but not least, a new flagship trim is coming to the Bigster and Duster: Hybrid-G 150 4×4. Put simply, the SUVs combine a 1.2 turbo bi-fuel (petrol + LPG) 48 V mild-hybrid engine producing 140 hp on the front axle with a 23 kW (31 hp) electric motor on the rear axle. Combined output is 150 hp, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The result is an electrified 4×4 system with no traditional mechanical link between the axles, and a range of up to 1500 km (in the Duster). There is nothing comparable on the market.
Orders are already open, and the first deliveries are scheduled to take place during the first quarter. As range-topping versions, they are also the most expensive in their respective ranges. Prices start at €27,850 for the Duster and €30,350 for the Bigster.
2026 is shaping up to be a busy year for Dacia, with a clear objective: grow where it is already strong and gain ground where it does not yet lead - without giving up on the right price.
