Cristiano Ronaldo, remarkable though he is, is no exception. Inside his garages sit some of the most sought-after performance cars ever made - a collection that keeps expanding and, in 2024, will very likely continue to grow.
In the case of the Portuguese international, this interest is not merely about showing off. It is a genuine passion.
Not every machine on this list is still part of Cristiano Ronaldo’s garage. Unsurprisingly, a few of the models mentioned have moved on to make room for others. The most recent addition? A Ferrari Purosangue. So what will be the next car to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s garage?
Range Rover Sport
The Range Rover Sport SVR comes with a 5.0 V8 Supercharged producing 575 cv - and we doubt it has seen much off-road use. Will we see the star swap it for the latest-generation Sport?
Mercedes-AMG S 65
The Mercedes-AMG S 65 Coupé was among the final V12 models from the three-pointed star - today, you only find it in Mercedes-Maybach.
One of the big Mercedes coupé’s rivals is the Bentley Continental GT, and Cristiano Ronaldo also owned one - specifically a 2009 Continental GT Speed (which has since been sold).
McLaren MP4-12C Spyder
The McLaren MP4-12C was the first model from the then “new” McLaren Cars (now McLaren Automotive). Cristiano Ronaldo could not resist the Spyder version and its twin-turbo V8.
Ferrari 599 GTO
There is still some debate around Ferrari using the GTO badge on a model not built to compete, but one thing is certain: the 599 GTO is an exceptionally special machine.
Its naturally aspirated V12 delivered 670 cv - 50 cv more than other 599s - and the car was lighter by almost 100 kg. Only 599 units were produced, which is yet another reason it is so highly coveted.
Porsche 911 Turbo S (991)
The Porsche 911 Turbo S is outstanding in every respect - superb for everyday driving, yet fully capable of frightening more exotic and exclusive supercars.
Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is, without question, an unusual choice. This American muscle car was not only about its vast, thunderous 6.2 V8. The Camaro ZL1 was engineered to corner: with the 1LE package it lapped the Nürburgring in 7min16s (2017) - respect… Probably not in the convertible version he owned.
Lamborghini Aventador
The Lamborghini Aventador was the car the footballer bought for himself to celebrate turning 27. In the brand’s story, the Aventador stands as the last naturally aspirated production V12 (excluding one-off models) with no electrification of any kind.
As well as the black car seen in the images, there are rumours that CR7 also has the same model in white.
Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse
Ronaldo’s fondness for Bugatti is well known. The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse was his first and, like every Bugatti of this century (so far), it comes with the mighty 8.0 W16 quad-turbo.
Ferrari F12tdf
Another Ferrari. The F12 replaced the 599, and it is fair to say this F12tdf effectively followed the 599 GTO. “tdf” was a tribute to the Tour de France, a race Ferrari dominated during the 1950s and 1960s. Only 799 examples exist.
Up front sits a 6.3-litre V12 producing a maximum of 780 cv at 8500 rpm, along with a top speed above 340 km/h.
Bugatti Chiron
This is among the most expensive cars in Cristiano Ronaldo’s collection, at roughly 2.4 million euros. The Bugatti Chiron took over from the Veyron, while retaining the 8.0 W16 quad-turbo - only now it produces 1500 cv. A total of 500 were built.
Ronaldo’s car, like every other Chiron, was customised as well. In the short video above, you can see the “CR7” inscription engraved on the side of the car.
Mercedes-Benz GLE 63 AMG
Next to Bugatti, Ferrari or Lamborghini, the player’s Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S feels… modest. Yet under the bonnet is one of the great engines of our time: AMG’s 4.0 V8 twin-turbo.
Audi RS 7 Sportback
During his time at Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo - like his team-mates - received an Audi. In CR7’s case, the choice was an RS 7 - fitting, isn’t it?
Rolls-Royce Cullinan
Ronaldo also gave in to the appeal of the aristocratic British marque’s first SUV. CR7’s Rolls-Royce Cullinan was specified with a bespoke interior in black-and-white leather, and it was bought soon after the star joined Juventus.
Remember that this SUV “was born” in 2018, and it quickly became Rolls-Royce’s best-selling model.
McLaren Senna
With an estimated price of one million euros, the McLaren Senna is one of the most extreme supercars the British manufacturer has ever built. It is, in effect, a track car that is road legal.
Add the Senna name and it had to be something truly special. After all, the legendary Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna won three Formula 1 world titles, always at the wheel of… McLaren.
Brabus 800 Widestar
No mistaking it: Brabus took the already outrageous Mercedes-AMG G 63 and “turned the volume up”. The result is 800 cv and 1000 Nm - in a G…
As an interesting detail, the player did not buy it himself; it was given to him by his partner Georgina as a birthday present.
Cadillac Escalade
Another model from across the Atlantic. Two years after Georgina gifted him a Brabus Widestar, this time she gave him a huge Cadillac Escalade. Nothing “screams” America more than an Escalade - except, perhaps, a giant pick-up.
Ferrari Purosangue
This is the most recent known addition to Cristiano Ronaldo’s garage. The Ferrari Purosangue is unlike any other Ferrari - yet also very much a Ferrari. After all, up front is a loud, naturally aspirated V12 with 725 cv.
Rolls-Royce Dawn
Ronaldo chose to buy a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead when he decided to stay for a longer spell at Manchester United.
He did not stop with that convertible from the brand. More recently (late 2022), he received a Rolls-Royce Dawn from his partner.
Bugatti Centodieci
Only 10 Bugatti Centodieci were built - and one of them belongs to Cristiano Ronaldo. The price of entry into such an exclusive club? At least eight million euros.
Powering this Bugatti is the familiar 8.0 W16 quad-turbo, but here tuned to 1600 cv - 100 cv more than the Chiron.
Maserati GranCabrio
The 2018 Maserati GranCabrio features a naturally aspirated V8, often recognised as one of the most “musical” V8s ever, even if its notes always lean to the deep end. It is best enjoyed with the roof down at all times.
Ferrari F430
As if two Ferraris were not enough, the Portuguese forward added a Ferrari 430 to his list. The predecessor to the Ferrari 458 is powered by a naturally aspirated V8 capable of reaching 8500 rpm - it is easy to see the appeal.
Ferrari Monza SP1/SP2
To finish on a high, another Ferrari - and this one could hardly be more special: a Ferrari Monza, although it is unclear whether it was the SP1 (single-seater) or the SP2 (two-seater). Zlatan Ibrahimovic, for instance, chose an SP2.
Motivation comes from a naturally aspirated 6.5 V12 borrowed from the 812 Superfast.
