Ford Pro has reaffirmed its position as the leader of the European LCV market.
Ford Pro’s 11-year lead in the European LCV market
By the end of the year, Ford Pro secured the top spot in Europe’s light commercial vehicle market for the eleventh consecutive year. The brand’s share across Europe rose above 17%, while in Italy it reached 16.3%, underlining sustained strength in the LCV segment.
Strategy combining vehicles, digital services and connected business solutions
The company attributes these results to a broad approach that brings together its vehicles, digital services and connected tools for business users. Ford Pro presents itself not only as a manufacturer, but also as a partner for corporate fleets and self-employed customers, supplying vehicles for small businesses with a focus on lowering running costs and improving efficiency.
Transit and Ranger models underpinning Ford Pro performance
The core products remain the Transit range and the Ranger pick-up. Transit Custom and Ranger have led their respective European segments since 2016. In Italy, Ford Transit 2T went beyond 11.1 thousand registrations and, at the same time, marked 60 years on the market-finishing 2025 as the country’s best-selling foreign van.
FordLiive centres and reduced fleet downtime
Digital services are also highlighted as a major contributor. FordLiive centres, operating in Europe since 2019, have helped cut fleet downtime by more than 994 thousand days by analysing data from connected vehicles and enabling preventative maintenance.
Investment plans through 2026
Ford adds that through 2026 it will continue investing in technology and services, aiming to offer the market more proactive solutions and to strengthen its standing in a rapidly evolving commercial transport segment.
