Denmark’s government in Copenhagen has settled on a new method for delivering a fleet of Arctic patrol vessels: build major sections around the country, then complete final assembly at a single northern hub. Defence Minister Troels Lund Poulsen presented the move in strategic and economic terms, arguing that Denmark’s maritime heritage should be matched by modern industrial strength-and by more assured access to warships, maintenance and spare parts.
