Skoda Enyaq 2025 updated for Portugal, prices from €41,459

The Skoda Enyaq, first introduced in 2020, has just received an update and is already on sale in Portugal, with prices starting at €41,459.

From the outside, the most obvious change compared with the previous model is the redesigned front end. It adopts the brand’s new “Modern Solid” design language, bringing it into line with the new Elroq. The Skoda badge has been removed from both the nose and the tailgate, replaced by the “Skoda” lettering, and the lighting signature has also been refreshed.

These exterior revisions have allowed the Czech brand to improve the Enyaq’s aerodynamic drag coefficient (Cx), which drops from 0.264 to 0.245. The Enyaq Coupé goes further still, with a Cx of 0.225 (down from 0.234 on the previous version).

Inside

Cabin changes are more understated, but they are there. The steering wheel has been completely redesigned and now comes heated as standard. Heated front seats are also now fitted across the entire range. Every Enyaq also gains towbar preparation.

Beyond that, the Enyaq keeps the same 13-inch infotainment screen and a 5-inch display for the instrument cluster. An augmented-reality head-up display remains available as an option.

Skoda is offering four optional packs - Clever, Plus, Advanced and Maxx - which differ through a set of individual extras such as a panoramic sunroof, towbar installation and a heat pump.

Two batteries, plenty of powertrains

The Skoda Enyaq 2025 is offered with two battery options, with capacities of 63 kWh and 82 kWh. The range is made up as follows:

Charging power has increased to 165 kW on the Enyaq 60 and 175 kW on the Enyaq 85x. Previously, it did not go beyond 135 kW. As a result, the 82 kWh battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 28 minutes at rapid charging stations (direct current - DC).

The 63 kWh battery takes just 24 minutes for the same 10% to 80% charge. On alternating current (AC), all versions charge at up to 11 kW.

RS at the top of the range

At the top of the line-up, we once again find the Skoda Enyaq RS and Enyaq Coupé RS. The figures are unchanged from the previous version: two motors (one per axle) delivering a combined 250 kW (340 hp) - 0 to 100 km/h takes 5.4s, and top speed is limited to 180 km/h.

An 84 kWh battery enables up to 560 km (Enyaq) and 570 km (Enyaq Coupé) of WLTP combined-cycle range.

There is not yet a launch date for Portugal, but prices have already been confirmed and start at €54,905.

First impressions

During this national presentation, we were able to drive the Enyaq 2025 and, even though the experience was very brief, it left a positive impression - just as it did when it arrived on the market in 2020.

Its familiar strengths remain: roomy and comfortable, it is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a family car. Quality (both assembly and materials) is above average and, as is typical for the brand, there are several Simply Clever solutions that continue to prove genuinely useful.

I drove the 85 version, with 210 kW (286 hp), and its performance does not disappoint. The less positive point is the feel of the brake pedal, which responds in a way that is not very precise or progressive.

How much does it cost?

The Skoda Enyaq 2025 is now available to buy in Portugal. Prices are structured as follows:
