Daher Aircraft says it has strengthened its customer support coverage for Brazilian owners and operators of the TBM aircraft family by adding two authorised service centres to its network in the country.

Announced during the Latin American Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (LABACE), taking place this week at Campo de Marte Airport in São Paulo, the appointments of UP Aviation and Aeromecânica broaden the network’s geographical reach and deliver enhanced, factory-authorised maintenance capability across Brazil.

UP Aviation becomes a Daher Aircraft authorised service centre at Pampulha Airport in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, supporting customers throughout Brazil’s south-east region and surrounding areas. Already carrying out maintenance for many TBM operators in the country, UP Aviation now adds its established capabilities under factory-authorised service.

Aeromecânica has also joined the Daher Aircraft authorised service centre network, operating from Bacacheri Airport (SBBI) in Curitiba and Antônio Amilton Beraldo Airport (SBPG) in Ponta Grossa, Paraná, providing coverage for southern Brazil.

Nationwide coverage for a growing TBM fleet

These two additions build on the authorised service centres already in place within Daher Aircraft’s Brazilian network: America do Sul, based at Sorocaba Airport (SDCO) in the state of São Paulo, serving the country’s south-east; and Voar Aviation, at Uberlândia Airport (SBUL) in Minas Gerais, supporting Brazil’s central region.

Together, these four authorised providers create a strategically distributed network across Brazil’s south-east, south and central regions, offering nationwide support for the country’s expanding TBM fleet, which currently totals approximately 60 aircraft.

Additional customer support and aircraft suited to Brazil

To further enhance support for Brazilian customers, Daher Aircraft’s company-owned service centre in Pompano Beach, Florida, has begun the certification process with Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac). This certification will allow the facility to carry out maintenance on TBM and Kodiak aircraft registered in Brazil, without requiring additional administrative procedures.

This authorisation will assist Brazilian owners and operators travelling across North America or transiting the region, including on flights to and from Europe, making use of the TBM’s long range, high cruise speeds and operating efficiency.

Brazil remains a key focus in Daher Aircraft’s international growth strategy. The TBM fleet in the country-around 60 aircraft today and increasing-underscores Brazilian demand for high-performance turboprop aircraft.
